Our client has an opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter to join their well-established team on a casual basis located in the Kewdale area.

This opportunity follows a rotating shift roster:

  • 2 Day Shifts: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, $65 p/hr flat rate (inclusive of 25% casual loading)
  • 2 Night Shifts: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, $74.75 p/hr flat rate (inclusive 25% casual loading and night shift penalty)
  • Followed by 4 Days Off

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preventative maintenance of beverage plant equipment
  • Preventative and breakdown maintenance
  • Fabrication and repair of new and old parts
  • Machining of new parts and repair of old parts Reporting of all works
  • Working in a safe manner

Successful Candidates will possess:

  • Certificate III or IV in engineering mechanical fitting - essential
  • A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for commuting
  • Previous experience with beverage or Fast Moving Consumer Goods process knowledge
  • Current High Risk Work LF license or willing to obtain
  • Working at heights and Confined space - essential
  • Strong punctuality and time management skills
  • Have flexibility with working hours and availability to work weekends when required
  • Contactable work references with the last 12 months
  • Rights to work in Australia
